Polyglass Announces Product Updates:
Polyflex® SA Base and Polystick® MU-X Underlayments Discontinued
Polyglass U.S.A., Inc., a leading manufacturer of roofing and waterproofing systems, announces the discontinuation of two of their self-adhered underlayments: Polyflex SA Base and Polystick MU-X. The decision was made to discontinue the two underlayment products in order to meet the high demand of their more popular underlayments.
Polyglass’ Customer Service and Sales teams will work with customers to switch any existing orders of the discontinued underlayments with cannot be filled with current inventory over to another self-adhered underlayment or base sheet product such as:
Elastobase SA membrane is a self-adhered, elastomeric base ply low-slope roofing product manufactured using patented ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered technology. It is designed to be used as a base sheet in “Stick 1 – Torch 1” applications where the cap sheet is heat welded.
Polystick MTS Plus is a high temperature self-adhered waterproofing underlayment. It is ideally suited for high temperature roof covering systems such as metal roofing. It is also suitable for most mechanically attached roof coverings such as concrete and clay roof tile.
Polystick IR-Xe is a self-adhered ice and water protection underlayment that has a homogeneous rubberized asphalt waterproofing compound, fiberglass reinforced, with an aggregate surface for skid resistance. The rubberized asphalt seals around correctly installed nails on the weathering surface.
