When used in conjunction with Elastoflex SA P or other approved Polyglass self-adhered cap sheet, Elastoflex SA Base provides cleaner application, improved application speed and removes the need for torches, hot asphalt or bonding adhesives on the job site.
Elastoflex SA Base membrane is finished with film that has laylines on the top surface and a split release film on the bottom surface.
Polytherm® G
Polytherm G is a highly energy efficient rigid insulation board composed of a closed-cell Polyisocyanurate foam core laminated to inorganic coated glass facers for superior bonding characteristics. Polytherm G is manufactured with a facer ideally suitable for many types of roofing products, including the direct application of ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered membranes under most project circumstances. Available in flat and tapered panels.
Elastobase® SA
Elastobase SA membrane is a self-adhered, elastomeric base ply low-slope roofing product manufactured using patented ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered technology, whereby a “true” Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) modified asphalt compound is applied on the top layer and an aggressive self-adhesive compound is applied on the bottom layer. Elastobase SA membrane is built with a reinforced fiberglass mat which provides strength and excellent dimensional stability.
Elastobase SA is designed to be used as a base sheet in “Stick 1 – Torch 1” applications where the cap sheet is heat welded. Polyglass offers a variety of compatible APP and SBS torch cap sheets.
Elastobase SA membrane is finished with a film top surface and a split release film on the bottom surface.
Elastoflex SA P FR
Elastoflex SA P FR is a self-adhered Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) granulated cap sheet, with fire retardant additives, for use in low-slope roofing. Elastoflex SA P FR is manufactured using Polyglass’ patented ADESO® Dual-Compound Self-Adhered Technology. With this technology, a “true” elastomeric modified asphalt compound is applied to the top of the membrane and an aggressive self-adhesive proprietary compound is applied to the bottom. Elastoflex SA P FR is constructed with a tough non-woven polyester reinforcement that provides flexibility and dimensional stability as well as excellent tear and puncture resistance.
The top surface of Elastoflex SA P FR has a granular finish with mulitple color options. Elastoflex SA P FR also features SEALLap® ULTRA, a granule-free side lap with self-adhesive compound and FASTLap®, granule free end lap. Each of these patented features provide for greater ease of applications as well as improved long-term performance.
Elastoflex SA P FR can be used as part of a Polyglass warranted multi-ply system with Elastoflex SA V, Elastoflex SA V Plus, or other top film-surfaced Polyglass base sheets to provide a cleaner application, improved application speed and removes the need for torches, hot asphalt or bonding adhesives on the job site.
Elastoflex S6 G HP FR (250)
Elastoflex S6 G HP FR is a superior SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) modified bitumen roofing membrane with fire retardant additives, and reinforced with a high performance non-woven polyester mat that provides flexibility and dimensional stability as well as excellent tear and puncture resistance. The proprietary SBS compound offers superb waterproofing and weathering physical properties. Elastoflex S6 G HP FR is designed for use as cap sheet in multilayer low-slope assemblies.
Elastoflex S6 G HP FR has a granular top surface in multiple color options and a sand or burn-off film bottom surface. Application methods include heat welding, when a film bottom surface is selected, and hot asphalt or cold adhesive when the membrane is sand backed.
