Polyglass Ply VI is manufactured with a heavyweight fiberglass mat containing heat-cured resinous binders. The high strength glass mat is saturated with asphalt, giving Polyglass Ply VI excellent strength and weathering characteristics, as well as a uniform porosity for ease in application. Polyglass Ply VI is a ply sheet used in hot mopped roofing applications and may be the basic ply sheet used in all smooth and gravel surfaced roofing systems requiring the ASTM D2178 TYPE VI felt. Elastobase V
Elastobase V is a high quality Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) modified bitumen roofing membrane reinforced with a high quality fiberglass mat which provides strength and excellent dimensional stability. The proprietary SBS compound offers quality waterproofing and weathering physical properties. Elastobase V is designed for use as a base ply layer in multi-layer low-slope assemblies.
The top and bottom surfaces are available in sand or factory applied burn-off film.
Elastobase V is intended for use as a base ply or interply membrane and designed to be installed in mechanically attached, hot asphalt, heat-welded, or as part of cold-applied system. When the top of membrane is surfaced with film, Elastobase V can be used as a base sheet in self-adhered systems.
Elastoflex SA V
Elastoflex® SA V membranes are premium, self-adhered elastomeric base ply roofing products, manufactured using patented ADESO® Dual-Compound Self-Adhesive technology, whereby a “true” polymer modified asphalt compound is applied on the top layer and an aggressive self-adhesive compound is applied on the bottom layer. Elastoflex SA V membranes are built with a high performance reinforced fiberglass mat to guarantee excellent dimensional stability. Elastoflex SA V membranes are finished with a polyolein film with laylines on the top surface and a split release film on the bottom surface. Elastoflex SA V is packaged in a roll of approximately 200 sq ft weighing 80 lbs in a patented Easybox that facilitates easy handling of the rolls.
Elastoflex SA V FR
Elastoflex SA V FR is a self-adhered elastomeric base ply membrane, with fire-retardant additives, for use in low-slope roofing. Elastoflex SA V FR is manufactured using Polyglass’ patented ADESO® Self-Adhered Dual-Compound Technology. With this technology, a “true”Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) compound is applied to the top layer of the membrane and an aggressive self-adhesive proprietary compound is applied to the bottom layer. ElastoflexSA V FR is constructed with a tough reinforced fiberglass mat to ensure strength andexcellent dimensional stability.
When used in conjunction with Elastoflex SA P or other approved Polyglass self-adhered cap sheets, Elastoflex SA V FR provides for a cleaner application, improves application speed and removes the need for torches, hot asphalt or bonding adhesives on the job site.
Elastoflex SA V FR membrane is finished with film with laylines on the top surface and a split release film on the bottom surface.
Elastoflex V G HP
Elastoflex V G HP FR is an SBS (elastomeric) modified bitumen membrane, with fire retardant additives, for use as a granulated cap sheet in low-slope roofing. This durable membrane is reinforced with a high performance fiberglass mat which ensures exceptional strength and dimensional stability to the product. The proprietary SBS compound offers superior waterproofing and weathering physical properties. Membrane is configured with a burn-off film for heat welded applications.
Elastoflex V G HP FR membrane can be used as part of a Polyglass warranted multi-ply system, when combined with Elastoflex V base or interply sheets or other approved Polyglass base sheets.
